Car Loading and Unloading of National Railways Hit New Single-day High

　　Since November, with the railway sector vigorously launching the campaign to increase transportation volume and income, the loading volume of freight wagons has kept the good trend in October and remained in a high growth. On November 7, national railways loaded 169,307 wagons in a single day, surpassing the 168,003 wagons on October 19 and setting a record for daily loaded wagons of national railways.

　　Following the historic breakthrough in the daily loaded wagons on railways nationwide in October, when more than 160,000 (162,077 actually) wagons were loaded per day for the first time, all units in transportation system of railway sector continued to exert their efforts in November, earnestly implementing various measures to increase transportation volume and income around the "Ensuring Safety, Stability and Operation; Increasing Transport Volume, Revenue and Benefit" campaign, with good performance achieved. As of November 10, the daily loaded freight wagons on railways nationwide this month reached 166,995 wagons, up 10.4% year on year. The daily freight delivery volume was 10.157 million tons, up 10.5% year on year.
